Narrative Description of Project:
The objective of the project is to prepare the Southern Corridor Improvement Project so that it is suitable for ADB financing. The scope of the project is to undertake a feasibility study and preliminary design of the project, as well as safeguard documents in accordance with ADB requirements. The project belongs to one of the strategically selected areas for ADB assistance in Azerbaijan and is in line with the poverty reduction strategy outline in the State Program on Poverty Reduction and Economic Development that include, among others, improvement of road infrastructure.
