This project built a sewer system in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province in northern Vietnam to improve the sewerage treatment capacity in Ha Long, improving the public sanitation in the city and preserving the water quality in the Ha Long Bay area.

The consultant’s scope of work involved the following tasks:

a) Geotechnical Engineer

– Review and verify existing F/S, B/D, D/D, existing facilities and specifications;

– Prepare tender document of geotechnical survey;

– Tender assistance of geotechnical survey;

– Supervise the geotechnical survey;

– Review and certify the output of subcontractor;

– Prepare the geotechnical survey report;

– Calculation, examination, and diagnosis related to the land reclamation of the WWTPs;

– Prepare the F/S and D/D of land reclamation of the WWTPs;

– Prepare the report for the land reclamation;

– Direct the local engineer.

b) Public Campaign Specialist

– Developing the public awareness campaign program to obtain the understanding of the Project, such as septic tank connection, wastewater tariff adjustment;

– Conducting the public awareness campaign according to the program such as media programs, distribution of leaflets, etc., on behalf of the client;

– Direct the local engineer.

c) Architect

– Review and verify existing F/S, B/D, D/D, existing facilities and specifications;

– Prepare the F/S and D/D of the buildings of the WWTPs and PSs;

– Prepare drawings, specifications, and BOQs for buildings of the WWTPs and PSs;

– Direct the local engineer.

d) Topographic Surveyor

– Review and verify existing F/S, B/D, D/D, existing facilities and specifications;

– Prepare tender documents of topographic survey;

– Tender assistance of topographic survey;

– Supervise the topographic survey;

– Review and certify the output of subcontractor;

– Prepare the topographic survey report;

– Prepare the report for the claiming;

– Direct the local engineer.
