First Aid Training
November 4, 2024
Occupational First Aid is a skill that not only benefits the organization during medical or accidental emergencies in the workplace but also validates the company in showing concern for the safety of its employees and prepares for “preserving life, preventing conditions from worsening, and promoting recovery”.
The Philippines Red Cross Rizal Chapter conducted a four-day course of “Standard First Aid and Basic Life Support – Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation with Automated External Defibrillator Training” last July 2024 where selected employees became familiar with first aid care for minor to severe injuries and management of respiratory and cardiac arrests.
With the success of the training, eleven (11) new first-aiders have established their first-aid response by understanding how to provide immediate and initial medical assistance in the workplace.
