CPD Program

PKII remains steadfast in its commitment towards continued development, and exhibits this through the conduct of its Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program that aims to support its staff in expanding their knowledge and expertise in their respective fields.
In November 2023, the pilot program for the PKII CPD Program was launched to discuss SM01: Bridge Design and Analysis. This introductory course was set up for junior engineers to develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of bridge design concepts, and can increase the capacity of PKII to undertake similar projects.
The succeeding legs of the CPD program focused more on skills building through a series of software training workshops for RAM Connections and IDEAStatiCa.
Similar initiatives are also being developed in other tracks, to nurture a variety of expertise among the PKII employees. Additionally, the PKII CPD team has been expanding its channels in preparation for its public launch- through its ties with CECOPHIL and other channels.
