PKII has conducted various consulting engagements covering different sectors such as flood control and drainage, roads and bridges, ports and marine structures, agricultural development, irrigation and post-harvest facilities, buildings and industrial facilities, residential and industrial estates, urban and regional development, social and environmental studies, and miscellaneous studies and surveys. PKII’s wealth of experience in handling consulting assignments in these sectors makes it an excellent partner in pursuing and meeting the goals and objectives of development projects and studies.


		FLOOD CONTROL & DRAINAGE Projects handled by PKII under this category involve rehabilitation and improvement works, urgent flood control and mitigation works and flood forecasting studies in the major river basins of the country such as the Pampanga, Agno and Lower Agusan River Basins.


		ROADS AND BRIDGES PKII handled detailed design, pre-engineering and construction supervision of various road sections as well as bridges throughout the country. In addition, PKII was also involved in the conduct of survey works and special studies for road projects.


		Ports and marine structures PKII undertook feasibility or detailed design studies involving port infrastructures such as piers, fishing ports, feeder ports, marina and breakwater facilities.


		Agriculture development, irrigation and post harvest facilities PKII carried out feasibility, master planning, detailed design and assistance for countryside development projects aimed at increasing agricultural production, instituting agrarian change and alleviating poverty through farm-to-market roads, irrigation and post-harvest facilities.


		buildings and industrial facilities PKII primarily conducted detailed engineering design works for several buildings and industrial facilities, and provided architectural design services in some projects.


		residential and industrial estate PKII provided master planning studies, feasibility studies and in some instances, detailed design services of industrial and residential estates of the private sector.


		uRBAN AND REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT PKII handled the formulation of master development plans for a major urban development project in Fort Bonifacio, in Iligan City and various tourism projects in Ilocos Norte, Batangas and the Bicol Region.


		SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES PKII carried out special studies covering social and environmental aspects of major flood control and forestry sector projects in Luzon and Mindanao as well as for an international airport in Micronesia.


		miscellaneous studies & surveys PKII conducted various studies and surveys that are not normally part of the foregoing sectors, most notable of which are baseline surveys, post-evaluation surveys, socio-economic studies and financial analyses.
