Since its foundation in October 1989, Philkoei International, Inc. has consistently responded to the ever-growing demand for engineering consultancy, both in the country and overseas. Even during the difficult times, when the country was not spared by the global economic crisis, PKII has managed to persist and assert its presence in the engineering and allied profession. It has continuously deployed its engineers and professionals to attend to the most critical requirement of projects of both the government and private sectors.
From a core group of seven professionals with proven competence in their respective fields of expertise, PKII has grown gradually to meet the demands of projects requiring varying expertise in engineering and allied professions. Now, PKII can boast of its strong and dynamic manpower of more than 200 highly qualified, experienced and technically trained engineers and professionals who are presently deployed in project sites/offices nationwide and occasionally, overseas.
Among the projects that were successfully completed by the company include those that are funded by international (bilateral and multilateral) financing institutions such as the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), among others. In the private sector, PKII has successfully completed projects such as industrial estates/facilities, commercial establishments, buildings and institutions to the satisfaction of its clients.
